Designer of interiors of apartments and offices

Also, more and more firms are ready to invest money in the design of their offices, in the convenience of production premises. That is why the profession of interior designer is very popular and popular.

In the intelligent dictionary design is defined as “the design of things, cars, interiors, based on the principles of combining convenience, economy and beauty.” The very term “designer”om originates fr the Latin designare – to show, to plot, to do.

The interior is a relative closed and organized space in the functionally-aesthetic interior. The interior consists of the enclosure of the surface (floor, ceiling, walls), equipment, furnishings and decoration.

According to the definition of the International Association of Interior Designers (IIDA), a professional interior designer is a specialist with the appropriate education and experience and who has passed the appropriate exams, whose professional activities are aimed at improving the functionality and quality of the interior.

According to experts, if you look at the process of creating an interior with a sense of humor, then the following list of responsibilities of the parties involved in this case will be revealed:

The customer – finances the process of work, trying to achieve at the same time the harmony of the final result with his inner world and the contents of the wallet.
The architect – tries to bring the layout of the object in line with the facade he painted and his understanding of the word “good”.
The builder – completes an act of materialization invented by the architect. Since the complete and accurate implementation of the invented is still impossible, materialization is carried out very roughly.
The designer is a man correcting what the architect painted and built a builder. He tries to achieve all the same harmony of the customer’s inner world with the fact that he is being constructed without paying attention to the contents of the wallet, since there is still no money in it, as well as on his creative ambitions, because they do not pay money for the ambitions.
From all the above it follows that the modern interior designer works not for the sake of art, but for the specific customer. Therefore, his tasks are ultimately determined by the interests and requests of clients, but not by their own impulses of creative nature.

As a rule, a professional specialist should have a good understanding of sculpture, painting, drawing techniques, basics of composition, ergonomics and even psychology. Professionally important qualities for a designer are artistic imagination, spatial-thinking thinking, communicability.

The designer should paint well and work in computer programs such as PhotoShop and 3D-Max – this is the minimum. It is also desirable to own graphic programs for architects -Autodesk VIZ and ArchiCAD.

What are the main stages of interior designer work?
First, he needs to “organize the space”, all carefully and competently plan: measurements, zoning of premises – the basis of any design project. He then performs sketches – hand drawings or computer models of the future interior.

Working on sketches, the designer takes into account the specific technical parameters of the room, specifying what materials it will require for the embodiment of the idea. The ready-made plan is consistent with the client and is often re-modified several times.

Presenting the general view of the room and the environment, the designer solves the following problem: how to implement it all technically. And here he is turning himself into an architect-engineer: he performs drawings, indicates the technical details of the project, from the measurements to the descriptions of the finishing materials: cubic, zoning, scale of premises – all this is reflected in the project. Plus knowledge of the work of electric, ventilation, plumbing systems, the idea of the peculiarities of acoustic conditions for a home theater.

This profession is oriented, first of all, to revealing the individuality of the customer. According to statistics, the interior designer spends on average 70% of his time working with a client – this is the approach adopted by the International Association of Interior Designers (IIDA).

As a result of interaction between the designer and the client, not just an apartment, a house, an office, and a habitat is created. The new interior should become native at the design stage, but at the same time it should be better than the client imagines, because it is made by a real professional.

As already mentioned, the designer creates his works not for the sake of art, but for the purposes of a particular customer. And this means that he must clearly understand what the needs of this customer consist of, have a constructive view of the world around them, react sensitively to changes in it, not interfere in themselves and in their own creativity.

One can say that this profession is for extroverts, because it is precisely the interests and requests of other people that ultimately determine the tasks of any designer.

It’s naive to think that the designer is busy with one “creativity”. He is not only an artist, he is a design project manager. And is responsible for in
